Will tomorrow be the day for new owner's manual?

Had an appointment to take delivery of new HS M2C last Friday.
Due to an issue with the owners manual I was not allowed to leave with the car.

Sat in it, went over all the bits with the genius, looked at, longed to drive it, and left without it.

Perfect weather too.

Hoping they update the hdd with a new manual/print a new version tomorrow.

Any update? Did you get the manual and take delivery? My car is currently held at port with a stop delivery for the tail light and owners manual issues. Wonder how long the delay will be.

Sent my SA an email this afternoon.

I've put 200 miles on this loaner 750. Thinking about asking for some trade value when I take it back...

I guess I'm not sure why this is an issue for the dealer/bmw? I presume the rest of us are driving around with un-updated manuals in both idrive and in print. They aren't exactly rushing out to provide us with new copies. Kind of weird that it's a hard stop. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

Its def still an issue, here is the stop sale on my car as of yesterday. It arrived at port on the weekend.

I did PCD at the end of January and did not receive a manual. They said it would come in the mail.

Just curious, what exactly is the issue with the owners manual and why do they need to update it? My car was built in Oct 2018. I have not really looked at the manual and why can they not release the car without the paper manual? Isn't there an electronic manual that can be access in the iDrive system and is that what they are updating?

Per my SA - "They have not given us a reasonable timetable."
I'm out of town next week making it 3 weeks from the time the offer was accepted and appointment for pick up was made.
Thats assuming the dealer is allowed to sell me the car after March 1.

I also did a performance center delivery on 2/1. Car was delivered, I was told the manual would be sent to me at a later date. I was planning to call next week to ensure someone had this on their radar.
