But what about brakes upgrade as this was advertised as clubsport build.
The factory brakes, with race pads, are fairly adequate on-track - at least in my experience. I'm sure the calipers will turn green from the heat. Ideally, I'd prefer to add the AP Racing kit and the rear wasn't available as I was finishing the build. I wanted to get the car back and drive it, so brakes are a future upgrade, now that both F/R AP Racing BBK is available.

The car weighs less than stock, the tiny factory intercooler can't handle track duty, and safety on-track was the primary objective.

That’s the price for the seat only. If you can obtain the correct floor mounts they are around 2900 Euros each.

Relative to other OEM parts suppliers yes.

in the context used $5k per seat ($10k total) vs $17k for both is a prime example.

Another would be the OEM wheel cap inserts 36-12-2-455-268 self level, $99 on your site, $74 elsewhere as seen below

https://www.bmwpartswholesale.com/oe...55-36122455268

https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...6-12-2-455-268

a 26% markup is quite large even though the true dollar amount is not. I have nothing against IND having spent $1200 at your store for my X5. In fact, I reached out to you guys a while ago to inquire about forum discounts which I've seen people get and never heard back, I still placed my order. It's not about the money, rather overpaying for items just because someone has them

None of the links posted above show the official BMW list price or site. In fact, one link is technically a “gray market”.

36-12-2-455-268 = $99.00 https://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/6...G-CENTER-CAPS/

As you can see the official retail is $99.00 per BMW and you have not provide a link with any evidence that we charge a “hefty” premium.

There's a difference between MSRP and market price. Of course you cans l at MSRP, just like a dealer can try selling a car for MSRP. The OPs post isn't the place this sort of discussion. If you'd like to continue having a conversation I'd happily do some in a more appropriate place of your choosing.

I was driving her around today and the car is balanced (fast, sharp, planted) and the N55 just sounds awesome.

Glad I snagged one of these 👍
Agree with all that but...damn $😳

True you could go with aftermarket Recaro floor mounts but the package IND is offering is 100% OEM from BMW M.

The fact they are a bolt-in BMW factory seat that literally requires zero modification other than S/W coding, the labor savings alone and safety aspects are worth it.

I thought the seat mounts bolt to floor mounts that came with the car. Is this true in GTS, and that all other M cars that this seat fits requires a special floor mount? TIA
