Pads movement after replacement: is it normal?

Hi,

Today I replaced my rear brake pads on M2C with N2H kit. I had some difficulty in putting back the two pins, but at the end I made it.

Now after a short drive, I noted that the lower pins (on both left and right calipers) slightly move if I touch the outer pad with a finger. Is this normal? I think I hammered it completely inside and I am surprise that it can slightly move in the holes.. the upper part is very stable.

Has this maybe to do with the fact that pads are new, and the Pistons are not yet pressing well them (although I did a short drive already).

Any suggestion?

So. You replaced the standard N2H pads with the Sport items, or fitted N2H to the non-N2H rear brakes?

The car has the 2NH system from factory, with bigger calipers and rotors.

I have replaced the original rear pads with Endless pads.

The model of these pads is EIP127ME22.

They are nearly identical to the original one in shape (but not exactly identical).

So, designed for a completely different calliper?

Basically ENDLESS says that they do not have the precise shape for the rear brakes. However this one is very similar (1mm difference at most).

I noted than when doing a reverse I can hear a "clack" from the pads. Probably because they move about that 1mm.

How come you replaced your pads, I'm a little confused, did you wear through them already or is this an upgrade of some kind?

Where is the 1mm difference? The overall circumference of the pad, on the ears, guide pin hole diameter etc.

Also u sure u did reinstall the expansion spring which is item 4 in the below link
