In car sound issue
My car has suddenly started to not play anything through its speakers!
No sat nav, parking sensors, phone , radio, seat belt etc sounds Nothing at all! Does anyone have any tips to fix it? As my BMW dealer can’t look at the car for 3 weeks... Thanks |

Quite a few ppl have had this issue and I believe in most cases it has something to do with the ASD module getting wet and corroding. Apparently there is a direct path for water to get at this thing (in the trunk btw). Take it to dealer and have them start there.

I’ve not had my windows tinted.
I’m hoping I can get an earlier appointment under safety reasons- as to wait 3 weeks is a bit of a piss take. Crazy that they’re all so busy! Thank you for your replies, was hoping it would just be a glitch somewhere on the system |

I had a similar problem. The dealer found the audio amplifier faulty and replaced it. It was done in 2-3 days including part shipping. Replacing the amp is pretty simple. If the dealer cannot see it for few weeks I would check the fuses associated with the audio system. Specially the one for the audio amplifier.
