Getting an IND order together:

What's the general consensus of the Collective for rear reflector delete?

Honeycomb or slatted?

Gloss or matte?

The car's on order, so I'm trying to get a little bit ahead so I can order a package with front reflector deletes.

Sort of "maybe" thinking honeycomb to match the front end? And matte to match the stock diffuser? But all I seem to see are slatted in pics here on the forum.

TIA--

You should at least leave on the rear reflectors so if you park up in the nighttime or lose full tail lights, someone else would notice your vehicle and not slam into you.

I know I sound a little dramatic but driving behind some tool who doesn't have on their head/tail lights, the rear reflectors is the only thing that allows me to notice their vehicle from afar, especially if you're approaching them with a little speed.

Your call, just some friendly advice.

Matte honeycomb would be my choice if I wanted to delete my reflectors. I like when things match. Slat looks good too, but I think matte is the way to go in either case.

How do you get the body color reflectors? I'd be interested in front and rears for HS m2C

Thanks

If you're going to do it, might as well do the body colored ones. I think adding those plastic fake vents on your M car is ricey. At that point, what's the difference between that and adding a fake hood vent?

I think they sort of add a bit more definition to the rear?

Honestly, the back of the M2C is a little.... pedestrian compared to the rest of the car? At least that's how I view it-- I think the blacks add a certain accent that's needed back there-- more of a design cue rather than a "Hey! I'm a Ricer" theme.

Just sort of what I'm thinking at the moment. It'll probably change later in the day.

I actually agree with you, I think it would look substantially better with actual vents. I just can't put fake vents on a car though.

I'm with Poochie. I ordered some nice honeycomb tint overlays for the reflectors but even now still hesitant to put them on. It still keeps the reflectivity somewhat but it's still much less than stock. Maybe I'll give it a try and test the reflectivity at night with another car

I feel the same way, but then I rationalized that since the front quarter panel M2 badges are non-functional, I became at peace with swapping out the rear reflectors. I chose the matte slotted type. I remain zen...

Can anybody please post a nice pic of the hexagonal ones on their car? Bonus if it’s orange.

Decisions, decisions.

TIA-

The slats look more functional but I just used a semi transparent black vinyl over the red. looks black but still reflect red when headlights hit it.

Dark from a distance with no lights reflecting

When camera flash hits it they still reflect

The side vents are fake from the factory.

I would go gloss, because the rest of the trim is in gloss black - but only if the car is any other color other than BSM.

For BSM M2C's I'd go matte.
