Pitt Race w PCA
Gents - a few pic from today; weather started in the low 60s with rain during the first session. Fortunately we saw the rain move to the NE and we made it through the next three 25 minutes sessions without rain. With the track drying out and figuring out the last few coins turns the have give me trouble early on, times have dropped from 2:14, to 2:08 - 2:04 and 2:02.8 in the last session. Weather should stay dry and partially sunny Saturday and Sunday, so track temps and traction should continue to improve.

I see you took the wide F1 line through there!
I haven't made it to Pitt yet, but when I get back to the States I will for sure. How did the brakes hold up? Thanks for sharing and good work!

Other than The obvious mistake on the brakes that’s really well driven. No huge chunks of time on the table but keep pushing to get back to the gas quickly and you’ll get under 2:00.

DSC Off uses Sport-style throttle, steering, and DCT mapping, while MDM is Comfort-style, so things like downshifts will be more aggressive. Just note your steering rate is quicker with DSC Off, so you’ll need to remap your brain/hands to keep things smooth. |

What kind of tape do you have over the wheel weights? I need to do that.

Had one minor 'scare' coming out 5 chasing a TT RS and the rear end stepped out on me, but quickly caught it and corrected by lifting off and steering into the slide. Good news is that it didn't really rattle me and I kept on motoring. |

That will happen, how else are you going to learn. The thing is just taking your time feeling things out, smooth with the hands and feet. Where the traction control light blinked remember the take it easier at that turn, etc. until you learn how the car responds, etc.
