That aside, how are you finding results from fitting the IC & DP?
Yeah it sounds fantastic... I didn't expect the code the next day though... in saying that I was driving in traction mode which throws more gases for the increased burbles this code... I'm trying comfort and seeing how long before the code pops up again
Probably tune mhd before that.

The USA icon looks different, it's a rectangle, which may be why seeing the circle caught your eye... that's the Euro icon.

Sorry to hear you're having this problem. I was just reading somewhere yesterday Mike from x-ph saying that Wagner issue was solved when they switched to Euro-6 approved cells. Such a shame it's still an issue.

Well remember Euro-X just designates the emissions control of the catalyst core. It doesn't necessarily guarantee no CEL.

The O2 sensors are expecting to see a certain airflow characteristic delta between the forward and rear sensor. These high flow cats do exactly what they are supposed to do, flow faster and keep clean, but the o2 sensor still thinks something is 'wrong' because it sees more flow.

If I remember correctly, i think one reason the fabspeed ones have been so successful is because they space out the downstream o2 sensor a bit further than OE.

Its interesting, because depending on the supplier, looks like Wagner may have claimed that there is no CEL to be had with these. For example: https://topgearsolutions.com/wagner-...free-shipping/

Quote:
The Downpipe is a 1:1 Replacement (100% plug and play), no ECU engine management light errors will appear.
I wonder if that came from wagner, or if TGS took some liberties.

If the former, maybe an email to wagner to help clear things up?

Wasn't there a thread recently where someone warned of the Wagner DP and how you really have to be careful with the 2nd O2 sensor wiring because it was moved so far downstream?

They are not sold with any guarantee.

The only DP sold with no CEL guarantee is Fabspeed which costs $1400

Based on our customers, Fabspeed success rate is 100%
Wagner is somewhere in the 90% range

All the other options success rates are below 25%

I've seen quite a few on the M2 Facebook group with either CEL or pending but not fully triggered cat efficiency code failures with the Wagner E6 catted downpipe.

Damn...had high hopes for this. Guess the only option is Fabspeed...anyone planning to move to a M2C selling a lightly used one?

I can only give my opinion on my customers, Wagner E6 cats success rates are way higher than the other brands
