I tried out the latest stage 2 map and it is a lot better now. Everything seem fine in all the gears and driving modes. I plan to do some 100-200 runs tomorrow to check the actual performance gain.

Laptop OBD Agent Update:

We've added a slight update to laptop based OBD agent interface. When started on a Mac you can now follow along on the status information as it connects which can be convenient. Same update is there on Windows and double clicking the start.bat file doesn't start the other console window anymore.

I've been testing the latest map Dzenno pushed to me last week. Now I confirm throttle issue has been addressed. The car is pulling N54 FBO strong and N55 stock smooth. The data logs look solid as well.

I'll do delta dyno (vs stock m2, stock m4, BM3 Stg1 m4), when everything is ready.

PTF has been amazing to deal with for me as well. Software kicks some serious butt and guys really work their bums off to get us taken care of. Concur on last maps, very very nice!

NEW UPDATE:

A new option to transmission flashing is now available via bootmod3 to flash back to stock for the S55 and M2 DCT. Its out there in testing and for those interested you can give it a shot now. Let us know via support portal if any questions or issues about it at all.

Many thanks for making this flash so accessible and now reversible. Some tuners charge few hundred dollars for this. GTS gearbox flash receives great feedbacks from S55 community.

I'm one of few m2s that flashed GTS and it didn't work well. Whatever mode you're in, it is always trying to put you into highest possible gear and is very lazy to downshift. Overall it makes a much less responsive car so I flashed back to stock DCT.

I'm hoping PTF will at some point make this flash really m2 compatible - we need it work for m2 the way it does for S55 right now.

Thank you guys so much for providing the feature to switch back and forth from gts to stock and back. For daily regular duty I will use stock but at the track when I'm pounding on the car I am switching to the GTS TCU flash for extra clamping force to the clutches. Takes like a minute to do. Love everything you do! Keep it up and thank you!

Changing TCU programming from stock and GTS is something that's in the plans for the future for sure as we'd also LOVE to be able to do that.

Hi, I have been extremely busy and didn't have the time late at night to do some 100-200 pulls.

However, I received an updated version tailored for the EU specs and the car runs so much smoother now and without any engine check light nor error codes.

Still on a business trip in Japan, plan to do some more testings / datalog this weekend.

I just had my HPDE today where I pushed pretty hard (for a none pro) in 2 out of the 3 sections I did. The ambient temperature is 33C/90F. I am on FBO setup, using the newest OTS STG2 map. My car held up power on track fine.

To my surprise, I kept pace with a M3 ZCP on long straights to 230kph, repeatedly. The trick is to short shift at 6200-6500rpm from 3rd gear on.

Latest iOS Update has been out for 24hrs now
Latest Android Update just hit App Store about 2hrs and finally fixed the new Google API issues.

Changes in this release include:

Custom tuning FBO (minus meth/e85/turbo), 6MT M2...on Cali 91 octane. Only on rev 2, already feels smoother. BM3/PTF support (Halim and Dzenan) is awesome. Can’t wait once she’s finalized, then can hit the dyno!

New update for those with a BM3 hardware agent box:

WIFI connectivity between the phone and BM3 device is great but wired is now supported as well!

Plug in a USB cable between the device and your phone and tether with a cable instead of Wifi. There's no longer a requirement to run WIFI for the hotspot or change the phone's name or hotspot password on your phone if you use a USB cable.

You'd enable USB tethering, plug the USB cable from the phone to the BM3 device and off you go.
