2 M2's available in San Diego @MSRP + Lojack

Hey guys,

I am on the list at BMW of San Diego, and my CA contacted me about these 2 cars being available now.
He's willing to let them go at MSRP + Lojack but he says that the Lojack price is negotiable.

For myself, I will continue to wait for a MY 2018 allocation with the options I want (LBB / 6 MT / Exec and nothing else)

Car #1 -- MSRP $64,320

2017 BMW M2 -- $51,700
Long Beach Blue -- $700
Executive package -- $1,400
DCT -- $2,900
CF Side skirt winglets -- $1,375
M Performance package -- $5,100
Wheel Locks -- $150
Destination -- $995

Car # 2 --- MSRP $56,295

2017 BMW M2 -- $51,700
Mineral Gray -- $700
DCT -- $2,900
Destination -- $995

Please contact Josh Keyton @ (970) 691-1462 if interested.
He is at BMW of San Diego and he's a truly stand up guy.

Good luck

Why would someone pay for low jack? These cars are already traceable via GPS. Sounds like a money grab.

Don't shoot the messenger, if you want one of these cars, I'm sure as I mentioned in the OP that the LoJack won't cost you more than a few hundred bucks.

I guess the lack of interest to this thread and your comment are an indication that supply has finally caught up with demand and that we should start seeing discounts under MSRP maybe even normal lease deals?

It wasn't long ago that people would have been fighting over an MSRP deal with a small premium like this one.

Or maybe because most buyers here, yourself included, would prefer to wait for a car with their desired options? If either came with a manual transmission, I'd be more tempted to give up waiting and buy one. However, for the price of the car, I'm not willing to compromise. I'm sure they'll still have no trouble moving them though.

Exactly, I'm tired of dealers overloading these cars with options I don't want or need just to gouge customers.

I visited another BMW dealer here in San Diego a few days back, the lot is full of overloaded M cars that no-one is buying.

True, but in this case, the MG M2 referenced above car is pretty basic with nothing but DCT. I would have thought someone would have jumped on this car by now.

There's a mistake. The MSRP for 2017 is $52,500.

Price went up $800 in march, car was probably built before the increase.

I would have except it's not the color I want.
It has exactly what I want bar the color.
Also MY18 are afoot, worth the wait for most people I'd suspect.

No, I saw the stickers for both cars, they are both pre-price increase.

I'll tell you what, if Car #1 had a manual transmission, I'd jump on it. Maybe they'd be kind enough to eat the cost of the wheel locks.

My car is expected to be built at the end of May, and it will be a 2017 model.

Sorry, the comment was in regards to an earlier poster that mentioned that the 2018's were coming. They are, but not until after June.

Hi this is Josh. I just got a car in that is almost the same as car #1, but with a manual transmission.

MSRP $52,500
LBB $700
Exec Pkg $1,400
CF Side skirt winglets $1,375
M perf pkg $5,100
CF Front Aero Kit $1,375
CF mirror caps $770
Wheel Locks $150
LED Door Projector $175
Destination $995
Total Suggested Retail Price
$64,540

We will let this car go for sticker plus LoJack.

Every car we have on the lot is preinstalled with lojack but I can sell that for $649 VS the $795 we normally sell it for.

Call me if interested 619-964-1803

Hi Josh. If I still lived in Normal Heights I'd be down in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I'm across the country in NY.

I would be happy to get it shipped to you and do a docs out deal for you. You can buy it right from the comforts of your own home and I will have it brought to you!

I appreciate your eagerness to work with me but my car is scheduled for production within the next week or 2. As much as I'd love to reduce my wait time, I'd hate to ruin my relationship with the general manager that placed my order. He went out of his way to get me an allocation and arranged for my car to be rerouted from FL to NY. If it was still a ways out from production, I'd happily purchase through you. Thank you.
