As always, I'm super grateful to live in this amazing part of the world. Nice to be able to have a quick weekend getaway of 1000 miles of intense fun to clear my head and recharge the batteries.
If I'm not mistaken this certainly isn't the first time you've graced us with the memories of your wonderful area. Just epic! I'm going to friend you on the platform for ease of future recollection of these routes if that's ok with you.

I'm going to be doing a Yellowstone --> Pacific Ocean route sometime in the next few years and Idaho will be filled with miles of smiles, largely thanks to you.

Keep it up, all of us with shitty driving roads are living vicariously through this type of recap.

I spent a week in Stanley in 17 hiking the Sawtooth Mountains. It's beautiful out there.

Have you ever run the highway from Enterprise, OR to Lewiston, ID? It's a hoot! Then there is the Lewiston Grade/Old Spiral Highway just north of Lewiston which is a great road, but more travelled and used by cyclists.
Thanks! Some of my favorites for sure - check out these photos: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1493231

Thanks very much! Yes, I've posted up a few of these trip reports with photos. So blessed to live (and drive and ride) in this part of the world.

champignon also lives in Idaho and drives an M2. Unfortunately, he doesn't enjoy the drive as much as he's disenchanted with his car based upon his multitude of negative posts about his M2.....must be driving on pothole laden roads in the hood.
