New Member of the M2C Club
I've posted in other threads re joining the club, but wanted to do a proper introduction here:
About a week ago I took delivery of a 2020 M2C very basic spec: BSM manual blue stitch 437m's and that's it! Coming from an m240i, I didn't have huge expectations for this car. I was honestly rather "meh" about the car after 2 test drives. But there really wasn't anything else out there in the market that appealed (manual and compact size were key for me). I contemplatied going back to a 981S (had 2 before), but that seemed rather backwards I continued to watch raving review after review and some helpful posts from m2c drivers on here pushed me over the edge into ordering one and I am so glad I did. I really do love this car, exceeds my expectations (rare in life), and look forward to every drive. I now get the "there is something about an M car" (this is my first). You can feel the motorsports DNA in so many aspects of the car. and this car just fits me, I feel so at home in it, a feeling that I've haven't really had since my 2007 Z4 coupe 3.0si. Anyhow, very happy to be part of the club and look forward to enjoying the car (come on 2000 km!) and sharing with the group here. Last edited by baege; 03-29-2020 at 06:07 PM.. |

Every time i see a black M2 in the wild I think "man...those look good."
I'm never super impressed by the color in photos, but IRL they're damn good looking. In any case congratulations! Awesome car in any color! |

Test drives never seem to really allow you to see what the car is like. I test drove a M240i after leasing a 230i and for me the difference was negligible. I then upgraded a few months later directly into an M2 C and the difference was night and day.
