Short Shifters

Am considering a short shifter for my M2 . Although the OEM shifter is fine for DD, it is really obvious it is lacking for track, just too much vagueness and sloppiness in the shifter. Also the console is not conducive to making good shifts, forcing your arm and shoulder to be slightly elevated when shifting. Has anyone here who Tracks their M2 and switched to a Short Shifter comment on their experiences with the various Short Shifters?

My M2C goes into production in the next few days and I have already had my SSK built.

Auto Solutions is the only kit I considered.

http://www.autosolutions.net/

Please contact Ron for info on his individually made SSK's

Ronald@autosolutions.net

Please let him know I referred you....

I'm having that installed along with the UCP when I take delivery in 6-8 weeks.

There also are a few recent reviews of the SSK

Was wondering how you like this short shifter? Who did your install, or did you do it yourself? I am installing the Turner Poly Bushing at rear support for now,but am seriously considering a ShortShifter to eliminate some of the vague feel.

I work at BMW Stratham.

Nate was the Tech who has done all my aftermarket installs on the M2 so far.
