PSA: Change for ED Transportation Contact - Info Inside

Hey Guys...

I just wanted to let everyone know that BMW has recently changed their company for the ED airport pickup and hotel transportation.

It used to be Sixt that was contracted to pick up and drop off either at the airport or hotel to the Welt. BMW is now using a company called Premium Drive.

BMW is still giving the wrong info in the Euro Reservation Letter and it took me a while to finally find someone who had the correct info.

Here is the correct info below:
Email: bmw-welt@premium-drive.de or Phone: 49 (0) 89 588 0 55 66

• First and Last Name

• Telephone Number

• Production Number

• Date and time of arrival in Munich

• Airline and Flight Number

• Number of Guests traveling

Good luck to all of those with M2C Euro Reservations!

Thanks for the heads up! Do you know what car they pick you up in? We had a 7 series on our last one and man was that a nice ride into Munich.

I got two reservation letters. One in March and the second in April. First one had Sixt info. the second one had Premium Drive info. The letters were identical. I had to compare the two letters side by side to figure out that BMW changed companies.

And if i remember correctly, they also changed ED insurance carrier.

Man, I never got the updated info so I took the S-bahn and it was pouring that day. I just thought they canceled it because Sixt offered the service for 100 Euros.

Ah well.

Correct, the big issue is the new carrier does not cover the Nurburgring, even the tourist days which is considered a public toll road.

Well, it took a few weeks from my original (and only) email request, but I received a confirmation of my airport to hotel transfer! Based on this thread I figured I would just have to cross my fingers and hope they showed up, so it was a pleasant surprise to receive it.

Hey Guys -

Just completed ED and dropped car off yesterday at the Munich airport, finally back in the states, albeit super jet lagged!

Do you guys know if BMW will reimburse the Uber/taxi cost from the airport, if we didn't use the Sixt transportation from the airport to the hotel? I feel like I read somewhere that BMW will reimburse it, but can't seem to find the thread and wasn't sure who would be best to reach out to - presumably my SA at the local dealer...

Thanks!

Call the BMW ED department and ask them. Their number is in your ED confirmation email at the bottom.

So, oddly enough - I never received an ED confirmation email. This was due to my local dealership providing them with the wrong email address (typo) and thus I never got any of this communication - scary, I know. The dealer/SA is who confirmed all the details for my ED for me, and thankfully the trip went smoothly.

Do you happen to have the appropriate number for the BMW ED department? Otherwise, I'll reach out to my SA.

Thanks!
