We had a nice snow storm Saturday, so I got out in it with the animals:

Ah, mea culpa. I thought that was a typo.

Yeah that sucks; NPS will most likely be out of range as long as they stick to those policies. I dont plan on ever make a living out of photography. This is a hobby; nothing else.

Sad because you can loan every possible lens for 2 weeks at a time for free; and got access to replacement bodies during repairs and maintenance.

Oh well...

Thanks mark. They are actually all stationary ships, they are from Asia and are there fishing. They will stay until they are full and then leave. They all "rent" a designated spot in the bay, and if they stray from the spot, they get some massive fines. (So I'm told)

Thanks Dave. I need to get out there more and get more shots. The weather isn't always on the right side for it however

Good ones also.
Since you have a clean shot of the sunset, see if you can get the comet.

Wow, I missed a bunch of shots.
Reed, don't worry about the rain, it doesn't stop...
Rowdy, nice views from above. It is such a nice place.

Dave, OOOH. I guess they get used to it and don't mind.

The bees in my tree are going bonkers, it is pretty loud as there must be hundreds.

Looks like he might scrape that plating he's approaching. Too nice of a car for those roads.

Yeah, I don't mind the rain, beats the snow. Also because the humidity is pretty much always the same, I don't get random nose bleeds like back at home. Yes, I suck...

Hey Dave, was that snowed-upon owl shot with your 500? How much crop?

All kinds of good ones over the last day!

Another trip through the wayback machine here. I took this from the number 2 airplane on a training mission over the Atlantic ocean one afternoon in 1996. I'm a sucker for pretty clouds.

Nice Denn; I hope you will print a 365 pages book out of that project!

Lenny: Sick point of view. I'm curious... What were you shooting with in 1996?

That was a Canon Rebel 35mm with a Vivitar 300mm zoom. I couldn't tell you the specific model numbers...that was too many brain cells ago.
