Not too bad to install - the wiring was the most complicated part! CSL yellow is my favorite mode so far! For anyone looking to do the same, I got them off of AliExpress and the white mode is exactly the same as OEM!

You can code in that option or just code out the original DRL lights from functioning entirely. It's not required per say but it will make the lights run a lot cooler and increase their lifespan. Also will prevent any light bleeding from the additional amber/orange LEDs that are on the boards.

Thanks Sr! I have coded it and installed, all is ok, but a question that maybe you know about it,

With drl off on idrive and connected 12v to fusible 44, drl doesnt power on when i unlock / lock the car, only with first position on inside car, do you know how to solve it?

Yeah that's the one thing I could never figure out - theoretically you could wire it to the amber sidemarker or even the original halos but there wouldn't be anyway to do it without splicing into the OEM harnesses. I wanted to make this a reversible mod so I just used fuse 44 and dealt with the fact that it wouldn't work with the welcome lights

I also want something reversible, but if we connect it to some other fusible maybe it will work?, i have for example a camera connected at rear box fusible that unlocking the car the camera turns on..

I couldn't find anything in the engine bay fuse box that operated as such but if you do, let me know!

I have been testing, fuse 68 or 22 for example power on the lights when you unlock the car, but… when you lock it it remains about 3 min until they power off..

I have found a solution, it is not 100% perfect, but I think it is better, I bought this device and I connected it to fuse 22, and the output of the device to the RGB controller, in this way the operation is as follows: car parked and closed, you unlock it and the DRL lights come on for 10-15s, they turn off and do not come on again until you start the engine, if you turn off the engine after 10-15s they turn off automatically. The only drawback is that if you have the car parked, you unlock it, the DRLs turn on, but if you lock it and unlock it again in a period of less than 3 minutes (the fuse still has power) the DRLs do not turn on until you start the car engine.

https://www.amazon.es/gp/aw/d/B08156...b_b_asin_title

You can find it in AliExpress etc, searching for something like drl timer

Another question that i have might you know it, is when drl power on, they light in random color and 1-2s later they light in the last color you select it.. i missing something to avoid this?

It's somewhere in the Colorful Lights app where you can select what startup sequence you want

How are these holding up? Thinking of buying the ICEDRIVER from aliexpress but I have concerns about the quality. Should I?

Zero issues after over a year. Doesn’t matter where you buy it from - it’s all the same cheap Chinese stuff lol. Most companies (won’t name em) are just repackaging and doubling the price but they literally get them from Icedriver lol. It’s a pretty simple concept though - if you have basic soldering skills you can modify your OEM boards to be whatever color you want

Yeah I guessed that but which LED and which color temperature should I use to get CSL look?

Honestly no idea - I can send you pics of my OEM boards when I get back to LA if you’d like to use those for reference

Would be most helpful if you could measure the LED-size on the board. 5050?

Is my understanding correct, that these don't function in the same way as the OEM lights? Fade in to unlock etc? Is it because they are the RGB version?

Yes these don’t function like OEM because they’re the RGB version - the RGBs require their own separate 12V power source. The single colored versions will operate exactly like OEM.

I've been interested in these for a while, but I'm after a very specific color, and color density. Everyone seems to be after these crazy bright yellow, blue or red colors, but I'm more after a light iced teal like in the pic below.

This is the same kit you use?
