Cluster arrow

Okay, this one has me stumped, and the manual is failing me.

I used idrive navigation to get to my wife's office last week to pick her up. When arriving, I selected the complete or end navigation option. She got in the car without me shutting anything off. I then drove home without using nav. The arrow pointing towards her office stayed up in the center of my dash the whole way back, and I couldn't clear it. I couldn't end navigation because it was already ended. Anyone know what I did wrong, or how to fix it? Other than "don't use nav"?

Never had that happen to me before but have you tried setting a new destination?

I assume that would have fixed it. But that wasn't my intended use case so I left it. I'll keep watching it and see if it happens again.

I think it's a bug, it's happened to me at least once.

Yeah it happens...
Just restart the nav and cancel it again

Yep. BC button cleared it for something like 30 seconds, then it popped back up.

Yeah i don’t think it’s a glitch. Every F series BMW I owned does this, including one G series. To clear the arrow and I just hit the hotkey for nav home (button one for me) and then immediately cancel the navigation.
