I want to order something from an eBay seller in Europe, which I've done business with before, so he's good money...

My questions is, are we still receiving shipments from Europe to the US?

It seems like everyday there is some new lockdown, which in my personal opinion is overblown, due to the oversaturated media age we live in but I digress..

Anyways, if I order me a JDM style airplane-sized wing spoiler from Europe, would I get it in time for the apocalypse or nah?

Bought Eventuri CF Plenum, matte black m3 badge, and red start button for my e90 M3. No idea when it will actually get here.

Doing the same- will be a nice break & therapeutic installing a few parts while working from home.

parts from autoid:
OEM mperf cf diffuser
cf kidney surround
blackline reflectors - been checking for weeks finally back in stock.

Undecided on a front lip/diffuser. Like the cf against the LBB but don’t wanna go over the top. Already have the cf mirror caps and rear spoiler. Next delivery may be be final touches of cf on the M.

Jack answered all my nit pick questions- good dude.

Be well and be safe.

Only exist in 19" front + 20" rear for the M3 CS and M4 CS.

BMW does not make the 19" 763M M Performance Parts wheels available in Orbit Grey. But you can get a black or golden set and have those wheels re-finished in Orbit Grey at your indie paint shop. I did.

Totally agreed; CF on LBB is good when you go easy on it. Too much and it starts to look......weird. Decided that I'd only do the CF grille and diffuser and that's it. Not going to do the mirrors, side vent, or rear spoiler as that would be overkill for my build.

Not buying anything car related with the Canadian Dollar at 69 cents USD.
Luckily the office is still open and most of our customers are in the US, so the exchange is nice (ostensibly) when those transactions are made at 1.45x...

I have been working from for nearly 5 years so the workdays are oddly normal for me. But everything I do to stay sane outside of work has been cancelled, namely track days and mountain bike races.

Free time means time to work on projects. My DD Fiesta ST that I'll be using for some track time is now getting a BBK. Order placed yesterday. I'm sure before all the corona virus panic is over there will be many more upgrades on that car.

Yes! I've been trolling the internet for some 763M's for a while too. That is likely the next thing I'll do on my M2C but I'm waiting to find a good deal. Or maybe I'll finally get past the break-in service and take it to the local Dinan dealer.

Do we expect to see prices fall on everything? I'm kinda waiting to see if Milltek will have a sale on their new Equal Length exhaust or maybe go with a Remus Axelback. Exhausts are just so darn expensive for this car.

I'm an introvert so personally i'm loving being able to work from home. I have my work computer on one screen, my Netflix on another, and a slow based tactical game on my main monitor. Its been great.

I'm honestly a bit puckered right now. 6 weeks ago I was a fVcking financial genius [and I bought the car] and now not so much. The market drop has certainly slowed my upgrade plans. But I'm old enough to have seen at least 3 big meltdowns and things will come back.

I expect that vendors / distributors will be desperate to get rid of inventory and for stuff that's in stock there should be some good deals. For custom items or vendors that stick to just in time practices I would expect prices to go up or be entirely unavailable. Ditto for custom car orders.

IMO, Some smaller businesses may not survive so be careful what you buy.

So I got thru my break-in period and bang I get a herniated disk in my back that creates a severely pinched sciatic nerve that renders my right leg close to useless. Between that and the heavy drugs, been on my back unable to drive the new machine for the last 5 weeks which included missing my first scheduled track event.

So now we get this Coronavirus thing, so already out of circulation at least I don’t have to worry about “social distancing” thing.

Up side....lot of time to look for and order new goodies for the new toy so far including:
- a new set of Titan 7 forged wheels
- Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s
- IND color matched engine cover (Alpine White)
- BMW Performance CF rear spoiler
- BMW Performance CF rear diffuser
- BMW Performance CF Mirror covers
- BMW 437M wheels to replace my virtually new 788M wheels (for sale shortly - if interested let me know)
-Lightweight front splitter
-Turner oil catch can

Think I’m bored????? They warned me about the opioids but not this other addiction.

Worst part is....I can’t work on anything myself and not sure who’s open to deal with the items I’m not DIY. On top of that, waiting on flash and suspension upgrades until I’ve developed a feel for the car in its stock reality so I can enjoy the change.

Didn’t pay full boat... so it was too good to pass up.

Bummer on the health issues - hope you have a quick recovery. If you get the parts there are a lot of shops that are still open and not just for basic repairs.

There are plenty of companies like this. They are basically just ordering off ebay and selling them to you at a higher price.

I would question the quality too. Is it real full CF or just one layer of CF laid over fiber glass or plastic?

If that matters to the buyer.

Do you know a good source for basic CF stuff, like mirror caps, winglets, splitters, etc.?

Thanks

I would just be concerned about fitment.

I have the MP style rear spoiler.

Fitment was...weird. I assumed they just copied the real M one but the design of the underside did not set perfectly flat to the trunk lid. You can't see it unless you look closely when the trunk is up but it's odd. Or maybe that's the just the design? It's not warped, it was intentionally designed that way.

The rest of the quality is good. It looks nice on the car, it's full CF, and the finish is free from imperfections. The finish was slightly dull when it arrived but some polishing compound and wax made it shine the the other CF bits on the car.

I don't remember where on the website I saw it but they had a note about quality of their parts. They stated something to the effect that their parts are not OE quality and you shouldn't expect them to be. I found it to be a refreshing level of honesty because there's a lot of cheap aftermarket shit out there that claims to have perfect fit and finished. But they rarely do. Overall, I was happy with the ~$200 I spent on the spoiler.

A local shop I've worked with is offering sales. So tempting to act on it.
I'm looking at Dinan tunes, etc.
