I think you'll get better dual-duty experience out of good adjustable coilovers than you think. MCS seems to be the hot ticket these days

I have the same car and this will be my setup for this season:

- Ohlins with 70/140 springs
- Vorshlag camber plates
- Essex AP Big brake kit Front and rear (baught used)
- Front mount Intercooler (looking into Wagner Evo3)
- 2nd set of OEM wheels with R888R 265/30F 295/30R
- OEM wheels with MP4S or Indy 500 (street and wet track)
I know my comment said ‘I’ve know those brand to hold up well’ I meant the opposite. Everything I’ve seen on those brands revolves around more frequent rebuilds. Anyone with any first hand experience on them?

And what kit did you go with OP?

Swift Spec R springs. They’re technically for the M4. I talked to a bunch of people most of whom recommended it.

So, a quick update. I've been looking into the GTS coding upgrades with Alex @ Alpine and also spoke to Tyler of 'Tyspeed' fame. I'm looking at getting the following custom coding:

-GTS EPS
-GTS Traction Control
-GTS Differential
-ASD Delete

Ty also suggested that I have Alex adjust the brake software because the GTS coding assumes the car has CCB's.

I'll keep you guys posted on progress and impressions. This could be a huge bang-for-the-buck upgrade.

I've also spoken at length with Ron at Autosolutions and he's building an SSK with some stiffer bushings. Can't wait to get that put in.

So the Swifts replaced the factory springs? You're still using the factory shocks correct?

You have a link to them?

Correct. They are technically spec'd for the M4 but they're being run on the M2 as well.

Bimmerworld TA5R's on the way-Trying to get wheels from 'that other company' was like pulling teeth!

Looks like I'll be going with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires for the first few events.

Good looking car, man. For me, the '18 F87 is the one to get (over the Comp). I don't usually love the gray, but your car looks great, and I like the new wheels.
