Thank you. Have you installed these, and whats your take on the reduction achieved? Also do the fender body seals have tape on them to adhere to the panel?

They do provide a slight reduction in noise (primarily from the tires/road) It's not a huge difference but definitely noticeable They do not have any tape on them They basically get wedged between the fender and the body If installed properly they do not require any tape or adhesive The only potential drawback I see to installing them (especially since I track my car) is that they may trap some heat in the engine compartment (which is also why I haven't yet installed the hood insulation) |

I honesty believe it was omitted on the M2 to give it a sportier sound, i.e. a mixture of injector ticking and intake charge noise... Also, you guys with M2Cs, keep in mind that you're using the hood insulation part from a F22 M235i, which has a slightly different shaped hood than the Competition model, since it has to accommodate the top mounted intercooler, the M235i/M2 doesn't. Not sure if the hood insulation from the M235i would fit precisely on Competition, due to this fact. |

I guess I'm not understanding what you meant. I understood you were going to spray Cosmoline RP-342 on the inside of the rotors (vents)

Installed E9x Clutch Slave.
Now it's much easier to locate the clutch point, and yes the pedal effort is lighter (Stock E9x). Along with the ASD delete (fake engine noise removal), the AutoSolutions shifter with 80A PU bushings, my car has regained all the non-modern car noises and gear whine

Had to take my M2 for a nice drive. The battery was so low that the alarm flasher stopped working. Nice that it started up on the first try though. It is hard on these cars sitting around when they are use to being driven daily.

Took her in for the second service, oil change and check over. Also had some interior rattles resolved and the brake rotors warrantied.
Rattles were coming from the two speaker covers behind the rear headrests. Removed the covers and added some felt tape around the edges. Silence👌🏻 |
