Joe - sold out. Who paid him for that review???
Am I one of the few that likes the revs to stay higher on the hwy? I liked to keep my ftype in dynamic mode because it would keep the car in a gear that kept the rpm around 3k. This was perfect for keeping the car responsive at hwy speeds. When it was in normal mode and would drop to 1800rpm it was a dog until it downshifted. That was a long winded way of saying that I probably won't mind 6th gear on the hwy. |

Interesting that the CCB's are the brakes experiencing fade and reduced feel on track. That shouldn't be the case.

He mentioned in a previous video that it may be the caliper to wheel gap not allowing enough heat to escape the caliper. This is a recipe for expensive track days. That being said they are best used on the street, and this phenomenon may be of benefit in that environment. It might keep them warmed up for better initial bite around town.

We talking spirited driving or puttering through town in first gear? I can feel the difference between heavy and light wheels so I expect 55lbs for the CCBs will also be noticed, it will certainly be appreciated in my mind irregardless of measurable effect, clean wheels and eye candy too. I suspect the gigantic brake backing plates on the front CCBs could be the driver for Joe's complaints. I'd remove those before any track events. |

I also just wonder about the pads themselves. The weight of this car, and the size of these rotors, there just shouldn't be any good reason for them to be overheating.

Havent track the car and probably wont track it , but i can say when the car is cold , and brakes too , it doesnt stop well , but in just half hour , when the brakes take some heat , stop very well. No overheating problems or so , ofc i will see them in summer where the temperatures here are mostly 40 degrees from June (sometimes May) until Octomber ! But the car definetely stops far better than my OG M2.

I enjoyed that video. Its amazing how every iteration has made every reviewer laugh out loud during their test drives. Every iteration a bit better, just an amazing car!
