Do you need the sound kit with the slip on muffler system? I never use quite or efficient mode, only sport plus. Thanks!

It's not mandatory, but it can be be used for more valve control

Is it possible to buy the Akra slip on + Akra mid-pipe (Evo?) for the M2 Comp? I see the slip-on for the M2 Comp and Evo for other models, but not for the M2 Comp.

I think you now have to buy the midpipe second hand or order from Europe. It's no longer for sale in the US. My opinion is that I wouldn't buy the slipon without the midpipe.

If I didn't go Akra I think I'd check out fabspeed since it seems less common.

That's what I was thinking. I'm guessing the slip-on by itself wouldn't make a significant difference so I was looking for the full system (but keeping stock downpipe). Good thing there are plenty of options.

I went MPE only on my previous F80 and it didn't make much difference, so assuming I would get a similar result with the Akra slip-on by itself.
