Today I had a friend of mine drive my M2, and compare it to his 1M. We made some photos as well, which you will find below:

It may sound like sacrilege to some, but I actually prefer the lines on the back and trunk of the 1M. Front end I don't think there is any comparison though...M2 is much more aggressive and menacing

M2 looks so much better: sorry, but I am not a fan of VO color. But, I admit the 1M still looks "classic"!

M2 needs a CSL style trunk and then that back end will be complete.

I have to agree. The upward curve to the trunk line is much more aggressive.

Yeah, exactly what I mean. I think pics 3 and 4 show it perfectly.

the 1er M is nowhere good car as the M2 not to mention the comfort for god sake. the 1M is the most uncomfortable car i ever used. even my m3 csl bucket seats are more comfortable and lot more spacey then the 1M.

Both are definitely special in their own right. BMW did a great job with both these cars in terms of styling.

Sweet license plate on the M2 hahaha

M2 looks better but the 1M is definitely the classic car between the 2

I also like the 1M mirrors better

I'm sure someone will come out with a csl trunk style for the M2. then yes it will be more aggressive looking.

Orange 1M looks like a garfield dragging his fat belly across the ground.
