Need to replace my rear tires. Which brand/type?

After 9 months of ownership I feel that the car yawn too much in a strait line. Meaning, rear tire replacement.

I had contiSportContact 3 and they were great till a few days ago.
Should I go for the ps4 instead? p zeros?
I found good price for ps cup 2 but as much as I remember, they are not better on the road. Only on tracks. Am I wrong?

Thanks

I would go PS4s. PS cups are terrible in the rain.

Actually there's not a lot of rain here. Maybe 30 days a year.

Thanks

Michelin PS4's all the way. I had the SS's on and with only 6K on the clock, I switched because they sucked in the rain so bad.

PS4's - huge improvement and they last for forever.

What are you planning to do with your car, and whats important for you when it comes to driving? Looking for more performance oriented street tire, or more track tire, or a more comfortable tire? I'd probably not recommend the Michelin cup 2's unless you're only tracking on them... I'd also not mix and match. You're really going to want to keep the same tires at all 4 corners. Different types of tires front and rear have different sounds, which work fine with the same tire, but with DIFFERENT tires, they can mix and become REALLY annoying, not to mention the difference in traction between them.

THat being said, the tires I'd probably recommend for street driving in summer would be the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, or the Continental ExtremeContact Sport. I've used both (for street driving, as well as a rain tire for racing) and they are VERY close in overall performance....but the Contis do tend to be a bit less money.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all day long. I always hated Continental ExtremeContact Sport and couldn't wait for them to wear out.

I do not want to replace my front tires as well and they are contiSportContact 3. I have to add that I got a price proposal of 1100 usd for two rear tire (you can, probably, imagine why I do not want to replace the front ones as well).
From what you've suggested, I think I'll go with the PS4 and will change the font ones to the same brand sometimes in the future.
I'll try to find a better price offer.

Thanks all!

Firestone Firehawk for half the price great reviews then you don't have to mix and match.

Talked to another dealer today and he said that he has only ContiSportContact 6. I know that these should be better with the front tires I have than a ps4s but I went for the ps4s at the end. Price about 800 usd for both.

Thanks all
