This has happened to my M2C 2000 miles and BMW are not interested after all it was only a 60k car

I have owned BMW’s for the last 30 years and this might be my last it’s a design fault if you ask me but BMW said it’s not a manufacturing default so that’s it.

They were more interested in if I bought the car new from a dealer why should this matter

It’s a BMW with Transferable warranty I purchased the car with 1,000 miles and 1 month old but this should not matter

But this is what they wanted to know before they said no This will be my last BMW.

How conmen is this ? I know it is a problem on the M4 GTS and bmw are replacing them under warranty
ALL. THE. TIME.

Maybe someone could come up with a clip on caliper cover which makes the clearance so small that stones cant get in to begin with.

The 2NH brakes are cosmetic upgrades i think.

I was expecting a rock to get stuck between the caliper and wheel, and sure enough it happened to me with less than 3000 miles. Not really a big deal, since you can't really see where the rock scraped when the wheel is on. In addition, 99% of the time the wheel is covered in brake dust anyways it seems.

Same issue here after 2,200 kms on M2C.. NS front wheel

Car with dealer now as scoring is so deep, it affects the integrity of the wheel.

Trying to get resolution with BMW on replacement.. really friggen annoying to be honest.

I went to 18" Titan T-S5 with the AP Racing BBK on the front. No problems with the fronts whatsoever. The OEM brakes on the rears with these wheels is a rock score everyday! It is terrible. I am only lucky when I hear it, so I can stop and reverse to pop it out.
