How do I remove the front lower mesh?

All my searches turn up instructions on how to remove the kidney grills and the two side mesh grills, but I want to remove the lower, middle one.

Is there a way to do this without removing the bumper or putting her on a lift?

I want to get in there 1) to clean out some sizable debris and 2) to better mount my license plate frame

I'm one year into M2 ownership, so there is a lot to learn about her. Welcome any directions (even to a specific forum or a sticky I didn't see).

TIA

To remove it properly you must first remove the front bumper skin.

Appreciate the advice -- can you elaborate; what do you mean by "skin"? Is this a trim piece (like splash guard behind wheels or under bumper) or rubber seam?

Too bad about the damage. Doesn't seem too bad though. Are you repairing the fender yourself? I track my M2 and have had some close calls. Can see myself doing this someday. I could never figure out how those headlight washers work in any of my cars. If I end up pulling off my bumper, I'll cut them out. Thanks for the video.

I am leaving the fender as is. The damage is superficial and related to the xpel wrap only. I'll repair it if I ever sell the car. Just so t see a point doing it since the bumper takes most of the beating on the track.
