Passenger seat logo not lighting up

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hi guys,

Picked up my M2C a week ago... bloody loving it so far, nice step up from my Scirocco R

I've been fiddling around with Bimmercode and coding the usual things. I've noticed though that the passenger seat M logo is no longer lighting up; I'm pretty sure it did in the beginning, although not 100%. I've check the dome light and it appears to be on.

Anyone else with a similar problem?

Cheers

The seat lights are tired to the door puddle lights. Check the setting in idrive.

Unfortunately seat logos don't come on despite the passenger puddle light being on .

If I were you I'd code the original backup and start over.

This doesn't help you, but this is entirely why I'm worried to fuck with the coding of the car. I started thinking about doing it again but I'd hate to lose functionality for stuff and/or allow the dealer the opportunity to use the "code tampering" as an excuse for why they won't fix something.

These apps allow you to do an original backup. No harm no foul.

Unfortunately I've tried resetting the settings of every ECU to no avail. Couldn't find a global restore function on Bimmercode.

Guess no-one's had this problem. Might have to get the dealer to look at it during the break-in service.

The apps won't let you flash without doing a backup. It should be there somewhere.

Try enabling “puddle lights with reverse” to on and see if that fixes it.

Thanks but tried that, only the driver's side seat logo lights up. Starting to think it's more of a wiring/LED problem.
