so I was looking on realoem.com and it says its suppose to be "51167441038" can anyone confirm?

I used pry tools and the Dinan instructions. No need to remove the mirrors. I didn’t break any tabs on the OEM mirrors either.

Have some M Performance covers arriving soon, have read everyone's horror stories about breaking the mirror glass when trying to remove them so was thinking about an alternative method to prying the mirror out.
Do you think using my GoPro suction mount stuck to the mirror and just pulling the glass straight out will work?

Think most dealers use this method to install the M carbon covers...nobody remove side mirrors as they are prone to break

Unfortunately you have no choice but to remove the mirror glass when installing oem M carbon caps as you have to screw them on from inside the housing.

I don't see any screws when mine was done...just clips
