So has anyone fit an E46 cover on it yet? They are practically the same size so I'd rather take my chances with an E46 cover for half the price of an F22 cover?

Edit- car covers are notorious for lack of fitment, buY the OEM M2 cover don't try to cheap it

Do you put that thing on every day? I see that your parking situation is similar to mine, except our spaces are smaller.

How long does it take to add and remove that thing?

Anyone have a good cover for the outdoors? I have a tree near my car that drops little seed cr@p which I would like to prevent from inhabiting the nooks and crannies of the car.

I got the Covercraft Weathershield HP from Auto Anything. Cost right around $300 shipped. Nice and lightweight, relatively waterproof (although on a damp day you're going to have moisture underneath anyway) and it fits really well. I had one for my old E30 M3 too, and it was durable. Lastly, it's thin enough that it doesn't take up much space in the trunk when folded, and it fits in a standard washing machine. I like it much better than a heavier NOAH type cover.

I put mine on most days as long as the car is clean, and I wash the cover regularly. I figure I'm picking my poison - swirl marks from the cover or from washing the car more frequently? For now I'm choosing using the cover and having the car stay clean longer but I think it depends on your situation and why you're using a cover.

Swirls small occasional swirl marks are much easier to correct than bird oops set in by the sun or tree sap etc.

Exactly my thinking - the power lines to our house run right over the driveway, and birds tend to hang out on them. Lesser of two evils...

I have bought a couple car covers from www.calcarcover.com before for my other cars. They make car covers that are made to fit a specific car. I find their material to be quite durable

A washing machine is the only way I know. I go to a laundromat and use the big machines to wash and dry. Home is too small to really move it around and get it clean.
