Matte black is the blackest black by definition as it doesn't reflect any light so it seems more "invisible" under the car.
If you add any satin or shine finish it will stand out big time I think. |

Love the result.... I sanded it with a 400 grit paper, and painted it with grill paint in black

I have the muffler paint job on my to-do list. Did you guys follow the VHT "curing procedure", or nah?
From https://www.vhtpaint.com/high-heat/v...eproof-coating "Curing FLAMEPROOF™ VHT FLAMEPROOF™ Coating only attains its unique properties after correct curing (refer to instructions on the can). On the Vehicle Paint must be completely dry before curing Run at idle for 10 minutes Cool for 20 minutes Run at idle for 20 minutes Cool for 20 minute Run under normal operating conditions for 30 minutes" |

The one at the downpipe joint up front?
You are supposed to as they are single use crush gaskets, but many don't. It depends if you think it will be untouched again for a long time then maybe better to change it. If you'll have the system off again soon maybe wait? |
