Such a really beautyful car BUT
here in Germany it has advanced with 95.000Euros.

Sorry guys, i'm here out. My M4individual costs this.
So many money for a little 2series -> never, no way!

A Porsche GT4 costs the same and than its a Porsche, no wannabe.

what is the pricing? It cant be a 100k for a M2cs with 39hp more than a competition M2. There's nothing on that car worth a 40k price hike in relationship to the current M2 comp

If this pricing is true, I'm wondering how much it would cost somebody who bought an M2C at MSRP or invoice you build this car using OEM/aftermarket parts. Any educated guesses about whether or not it would be cheaper since this car is, for all intents and purposes, an M2C+ a few goodies?!?!

Well done, BMW!!!

I have something to get off my chest, and this car gave me the lubrication needed to do just so. If you don't agree with any of this, that's fine because you are your own person.

Any negativity towards this car is just ridiculous, and some people come off as they are offended by its existence. I'm seriously getting tired of people whining every time a new M car comes out. Are you that afraid of change? Are you so stuck within what you believe to be the right recipe that you can't even see the beauty in beautiful things? When did auto enthusiasts become so sensitive? Aren't we all gear heads? Aren't we mainly here because we are all genuinely interested in driving the car and feeling the car?

Sure, you don't have to like this or that car, but please don't sit there typing with your thumbs trying to justify why you don't like it and trying to convince others that you are indeed CORRECT. Stop being a whiny little bitch for once and appreciate the romance of driving and why this car is, in fact, a positive thing.

The recipe offered is what any rational enthusiast expected with the addition of a few surprises. Cars like this should make us all extremely happy and not regretful or resentful. The fact that this CS model has a manual transmission for starters is remarkable (even if we knew about this for some time, there's no reason not to continue celebrating it). One has a beautiful CF transmission housing unit, a power bump from the factory, a bespoke exhaust system, a CF roof, and even a bespoke CF hood with air duct cooling! I've been a member on Bimmerpost for quite a while, starting with a E82 135i then moving into a E92 M3. During the E9X M3 days, it seemed insane to offer the M3 GTS without a manual transmission. Not to mention how little changed on the overall design of the car compared to a C63 Black, us bavarian enthusiasts felt robbed. Not too long after that, the 1M came out. That thing got demolished on the forums.

"That's not an M Engine!" "The interior is hideous!" "The brakes are awful!" "It's a leftover parts-bin M car!"

Now, look at both of those cars. How highly regarded are they? One could even argue that the leftover parts-bin M car is even more special than the $100k+ GTS. As someone who purchased their M2C almost one year ago, I can say with confidence that I do not regret it. This decision by BMW to go this route, adding a manual, giving it those bespoke touches, truly solidifies my affection for the S55 in an M2 shell. I have zero doubt that this car is going to be epic, but my car is already a masterpiece in my eyes. IMO, there is no better overall one car (with a manual) at the M2C price level. And before you get so overwhelmed with rage that I didn't mention an American car or something used, please read above where I clearly stated "IMO." Of course and without hesitation, I caught FOMO when I first say this car unofficially released a few days ago, but the moment I got into my M2C and drove to work - most of that FOMO went away because it felt so right.

There's more to life than becoming frustrated with your purchase or envious of someone else's or continually downplaying something else because of your insecurity. I'm not sure how to ends this, but it feels right, and that's all that should matter.

For that price, it makes a lot of sense to let it sit at the dealer lot between 6-12 months on average. Start high, sell low seems to be the strategy.

I think a few add on carbon pieces a CS does not make. There are also chassis, steering, and engine adjustments and other tweaks done by M engineers and drivers. I think this car is going to be awesome on a track (or the right public road) for the same reasons the M3CS is. It's the sum of all the parts put together by factory trained M engineers and drivers. Ask anyone who has driven an M3 comp and M3CS. Me included. The differences are significant. Regarding cost the genuine CS hood, splitter, diffuser, and wing from BMW will cost a person over 10k before shipping and install cost. The M3 CS has a CF driveshaft as well.
