"Hyper Black 5" 788M wheels

The 788M wheel, I was going to sell them, since right after buying the car this past June they did nothing but sit in the corner with a brand new set of Pilot Super Sports I put on them. Those darn 763M wheels I bought just never wanted to come off LOL.
Then figured why not give them a dose of something custom to see if that makes me want to keep them around a bit longer....happy with the outcome!

This is a custom mix from the local facility that does A+ work, they call it "Hyper Black 5". It is a dark metallic anthracite base with black on top. Depending on lighting and angle, it can look anything from a gloss black with a touch of something else is going on there, to a black chrome look, to the deepest anthracite you've ever seen.
So they have bought some time, who knows, keepers or sell, they are better than they once were!

Even pulled the car cover and battery tender off to mount them up and take a look at them on car.

Really sharp! The more I see these wheels done in different colors, the less I dislike them LOL!

With so many folks selling these for just above $1,000 for a set, a custom powdercoat can make them a worthwhile buy!

No, northern IL area, I felt based on my visual inspection of various “local”, that this place did best work…..met owner at a exotic car show in Chicago years back.
PM me if looking to schedule a set to be done, I can put you in touch.

From someone, me, who doesn’t mind the 788 wheel, if you do in a color you like, black/bronze/silver/whatever, they aren’t bad at all!

Looks great, and I hate black wheels lol.

There is a handful of us in the Rockford/Madision/Milwaukee area that try to get together for lunch/cruise over the summer/fall.
