One of my buttons has just started to show the crack across it. Is it paint on the buttons that is cracking? It almost seems like the buttons are painted and that is actually what is cracking not the button. I have never touched the buttons on my car aside from trying to feel the crack in the button and it is still cracking. I use the steering wheel controls or idrive so I have no need to touch the buttons on the radio. The car is parked in my garage unless I am at work. I have never used any chemicals on the buttons.
