Competition DCT gear selector replacement need coding?

Hello guys and girls. So like a true champion, I managed to pull this conector off when fitting my carbon gear selector kit. I've found a second hand selector unit online. Will it need coding to my vehicle or is it just plug and play?

Thank you

I would be surprised if it needed coding. But I would consider just adding it and seeing if works. If not, then go down the coding path. Again, I am doubtful it needs coding unless somewhere here knows otherwise.
