It’s no more a M as the diesel X5 M50d. Are you under the impression the M240i is a M car?

Of course not, I give the actual M cars the props they deserved, when rightfully warranted.

It just funny how BMW slaps a M badge on the ass of any of their cars now, that just confuses the masses who can't distinguish M Marketing from M Motorsports..

Benz has been doing the same with AMG badge lately. It is on everything.

Blame Audi. They needed to combat the midrange "S" model. People were thinking an S5 was special and not a 335i coupe competitor.

Yep, my friend's Audi has a package for the A5 that includes more "S Line" logos, if selected.

I bought a whole pack of S Line badges for him online instead..

It's asinine and waters-down their "real" RS platform but if it help move units, I don't blame them.. Do your thing, Audi!

SO on the 8 looks totally different than the M2C test mules. Wonder if the color was tweaked?

Yes, it is Sunset Orange. Cool colour... Damn should I change my color on the M2C now.

I quite like what I see... Especially is a combo of carbon, black wheels and Sunset Orange.

Only thing I hate is that this color is on freaking every single BMW right now. That annoys me so much, and Hockenheim Silver is unique, but not the best colour out there.

I actually saw an SO 2series (230) today.. but the driver got in before I could get a photo.

Sunset orange is being whored out to seemingly every model. 2er, 3er, 4er, 8er.. if anything.. Sakhir is much more exclusive.

No... they are simply larger panels.. this color looks better on a larger vehicle.

Also.. an 8er isn't a sportcar... .. its a GT..

Also the 8 series cars are clean and prepped for display. Only two sets of SO M2C pics with have are of dirty cars. But with that said, your car won't always be clean...well unless you have OCD.

So far with cars I have seen SO only looks decent on the X series...

I had an SO X1 for a little while and it looks 'different' in a good way...
