M2C colors: Sunset Orange M2C photos thread

Hi all,

These photos came across a facebook group I'm apart of. The photos were taken at BMW Canada HQ. Quality might not be great as they were downloaded off of facebook.

Depends on what kind of color you want. I've seen a M240i in my work parking lot and to me it looks more bronze than orange.

Really wish at least one car would pop up with the all black wheels. Strange that there have been at least two M2c's publicly displayed in Canada yet none for U.S. yet.

This colour varies so much with the light.

In strong lighting it actually looks good!

But have seen a few 2 series in this colour, and usually its grey and rainy here in England - the colour looks far too brown!

Definitely an option if you live in a sunny climate though.

100% agree with this. Would much rather have a real red, but SO is what it will be. See my post here from the other SO thread with pics of an F30 in SO in partly sunny conditions. It sure stood out nicely amongst all the boring color BMWs around it in the dealer's lot.

It looks a bit better here than the last outdoor pics but I still think it’s a bit brown the majority of the time.

The 437M are much nicer than those new wheels too.

The colour looks interesting in the first 3 photos and then bang...the last photo shows the brownish tone which really puts me off from it

Shrug. I'm getting orange! At least it's a color. The only other option is LBB. Grey, black, white, silver are all non-colors to me. Give me shades of red, orange, blue, green, purple, burgandy, etc before any of the shades of white/grey/or black.

After seeing some pics and real life examples of Sunset Orange, I crossed it off of my list but the recent pics of the new 8 series in Sunset Orange made me reconsider it. It looks pretty good in these pics:
