The first car was discounted down to 59,060$ because it had 100 miles on it. I managed to get them to give me the exact same pricing for the 62,000$ car. So i walked out of there paying 59,060$ (before taxes and fees) on a car that came with the exec package, the little BMW spinners thing, first aid kit, and USB kit. |

1) Heated Steering - A must have for me, especially if you live in cold climates. Night/Day difference. 2) Adaptive LEDs - A must have for me; you can get them coded back to "Euro" specs. 3) Auto High beams - A must have for me; super useful. 4) Wireless charging - Goddamn useless feature, because unless you have a phone from 1865, and have a phone that is the normal "large" size, you can't use it. 5) Wifi- Useful for me, because T-Mobile LTE sucks balls for me. And it's a $1200 option for a $60+K car. That's small fries. I paid $4K for PPF, so in comparison Exec Pack is nothing. |

My m2 was ex demo and after the f85 adaptive led this was a must in my search. The f82 non adaptive leds are not as good and the purple band is a lot more noticeable on non adaptive leds.
I didn't get the heated wheel (it's a euro spec), wireless charging I wanted as I'm sure it is needed for CarPlay which I like a lot. WiFi I'm not using or fussed about but if you ever wanted a dash cam with live web access this may be useful Auto dip is also great for the roads I drive on. |

$1,200 is only 2% of $60,000 but it's still one thousand and two hundred dollars. Noting in the Exec Package was worth more than ~$250 to me so I skipped it and spent that money on other things.
No judgment for those who think it's worth it though! I imagine those features are useful to some people even if they're not to me. |

I've never parked the 2 next to a door to compare but driving yes I think the adaptive blue band is less. I've yet to notice it on the f85, there is a certain corner which goes downhill then flat before going up hill where the band is really visible on the led's but not on the adaptive's.

Obviously your choice, but here are my thoughts...
I was 100% looking for a M2C without the executive package. But the more I looked it became clear to me it was easier finding one with the package than one without. You need to look at each of the items offered in the package and ask yourself, are any of these a deal breaker if I do not have them. |

You can see against my garage, the band is fairly intense and big. While driving, the light is thrown much further, so the band looks much bigger. I pointed this out in another thread, and apparently it made many of the "purists" on this board very upset that I cared about this issue (versus, you know, driving my car...) Its not a BMW thing as I've had and driven several BMWs before. This may be unique to these adaptive LEDs, and its not ok.

I remember discussing it in the other thread -- it's the cutoff "edge" of the low beams, and not anything to be concerned about. If it wasn't blue it would be another color/brightness/hue and you'd still have an abrupt edge there where the light cuts off. Some people get concerned and distracted by the edge (and apparently the color of the edge) but you should move on mentally, and allow your brain to tune it out. I think most people focus on what the light illuminates rather than where it cuts out or how it cuts out, at least that's how I use my headlights.

The next year the farmer again want to do the ride but the wife said no, $50 bucks is $50 bucks saved. The next year, same thing. But the pilot said they both could ride for free if no one said a word. Knowing the farmer was getting older, the wife agreed. After the ride, the pilot couldn't believe the farmer never said anything, even when his wife fell out. The farmer replied, well $50 bucks is $50 bucks saved!

The only reason that I got the exclusive pkg is the headlight. But later on I realized the factory coding disabled the real adaptive headlight function and I had to spent another $60 to get Bimmercode and OBD to enable it...
Heated steering wheel could be useless if you plan to swap it out later. |

WiFi is dope. My phone is connected To apple carplay as soon as I jump in. I’m and the wireless charging may suck, but the USB ports have a higher amp rating to make up for it. And there’s two. Only one lower power one without the exec pkg. and the competition does not have the glove box 12vd outlet.

I like the looks of the adaptive headlights. However, I think the OP wants to consider the other factors. He found one in stock and it looks like he can negotiate a discount and it's probably due to the fact that many people want the adaptive led headlights. I would personally wait to get everything the way I wanted but on the other hand, once people get used to the next gen headlights, both of the current adaptive and non adaptive lights will look dated.
I say either: 1. wait or search for another one and risk not getting as much of a discount 2. try to negotiate a larger discount |

I see a lot of chatter over the package not being worth it.
I personally would spec it every single time just for the heated wheel. I find value with this option. Other things like wireless charging are underwhelming ... For the people that say this is a waste of 1200 —- If this was a no cost option and you had an allocation etc , everything lined up, had plenty of time to wait etc would you add this package to the build ? |

I had an allocation build and I was on the fence with the executive. I ended up getting it.
Why? Mostly for the heated wheel as I live in Colorado, and I like the look of the adaptive headlights (they're a bit different housing-wise than the non-adaptive). I'll end up coding the lights to work properly. A $60k car is not something that I'm worried about spending a few bucks for BimmerCode. I've gotten used to heated seats in my wife's Acura RDX and she has said (no more than a million times) how she wishes it came with a heated steering wheel. Even if there's no snow, it's cold in CO for a good part of the driving season. And, I'm never going to change the steering wheel. My iPhone Xr fits in the charger with a slimline case, so I suppose it's good to have charging available, although I rarely charge my phone in the car. But, once in a blue moon..... WiFi hotspot? I think this is a carryover from the BMW SUV's. I can't fathom a use for it. I pick up the car tomorrow, so I'll see what I think of it then. |

I used to wish I got it but I'm over it now and I saved me $1200 and I like the round angel eyes.
I had it on my previous M2 and did not even know it came with a heated steering wheel. Then changed it to competition steering wheel. lol btw, my Apple CarPlay also hooks up wirelessly and I don't have exec. |
