Don’t let it be a deal breaker. It’s fine, just different. My F80 did the same thing. Overall the transmission is good and fits the nature of the car very well. The car isn’t ‘precise’ enough to order with an automatic, if that makes sense. |

Niagara Falls to be exact. Yes, sounds like a plan! It’s going to be a long few months waiting for it and then the worst is I can’t drive it for another 4 months until spring....oh well!

Congrats, color looks great.I finally saw a Misano Blue and a HS M2 CS this week.I preferred the Misano Blue.It suits the design better IMO.
The question everyone wants answered is does the 6MT gear shifter knob finally light up in an M2. |

Awesome review! I have an 18 LCI M2 (n55) and I love it. But coming from an f80 it does feel underpowered. I am really thinking of upgrading to the cs but I'm considering just making my m2 into a more dedicated track car and go a little wild with the mods.

i am relatively new to BMW (spent many years in Audi S4's and RS4's before I knew better). Whenever people talk about how well the older BMW's handle (the E46 in particular) even compared to the newer cars it really makes me feel like I missed the boat.
I hated the way my base F80 handled. However, I love the way my CS F80 handles. To hear you, a fellow CS owner, say it's still numb compared to the older BMW's confirms what I have always suspected. I spent my 20's driving AWD sh*tboxes when I should have made the move to BMW a decade earlier. I made the move from Audi only when they stopped offering a manual.
