Was Estoril offered for the E46 M3? I didn't think it was.

I was really hoping for Azurite Black or Jerez Black, the M3 they posted in Azurite Black looks amazing

It's just such a deep color with lots of shades. A great description is Atlantis Blue mixed in with Estoril Blue.

If I got an M2, this would be way up my list. Also curious to see if they'll offer AY on it, as that might be the second choice.
I agree, I think it'll look great on the M2!

Yep, my E36 is TV. It's an epic color.

FYI, most of those cool colors during the E36 days were lead based. I like that they brought back EB and would love to see TV brought back though.

It's such a classy "loud" color.

Meh. First thoughts are it looks too light and would like it to be darker. I'd have to see it in person for sure.

That's what I remember, too. LSB was one of the release colors for the E46 M3 (along with Phoenix Yellow). Then they launched the Competition Package with Interlagos Blue, IIRC.

Wink Good question?

In my opinion I think the fascination of blue colors on the cars M is a meaning of identity closely linked to BMW and clear that the true BMW lovers or fans know well that there is a charm because there is always something new or different tones that make get excited and want them.

Some will say they prefer dark other means and other light colors, and others will want different shades like blue-green or blue-purple and others will say more glass or metal flakes.

At first glance "Long Beach Blue" looks like a mix of petrol blue with baby blue.

e46 had Estoril blue II.
Estoril blue was first introduced on the e36 individ, mostly the UK market.
e46 Individual also got Estoril blue, and I have seen e46 ///M's in Estoril blue II as well.
F10/f20/f30 all have Estoril blue III.

Meh, might have to stick with black, white, or red. Looks like my neighbors r-Type Volvo color. Will have to see in person first but I prefer a darker blue.

The first BMW to get Estoril Blue was the E36 M3 and that was worldwide.

The original Estoril Blue was only available for the E46 3 series and M3 if you ordered the car through individual. The only model it was standard on was the E46 3 series club sport model.Estoril Blue II was never available on the E46 3 series. It was first introduced on the F30 3 series.

There is no Estoril Blue III BMW paint.

Over in SA it was available on all Individual spec, but not for the ///M's. Only one ///M I have seen in Estoril blue was a UK import, but there are a number of e46 sedans in Estoril blue here, Individual spec, we never got the club sport package here. Again, seen a UK import 330 Club sport though.
And you are quite correct, f30 is indeed Estoril Blue II and not III.

Does anyone know if AY will be available on the M2?

Cheers

EDIT: Just wondering, because I saw this pic of a gorgeous M235i last night (I realize this is not AY, but if this yellow looks THIS good on an M235i, then AY on the M2 should look pretty damn hot).
