I just purchased my car on Friday in Melbourne

2018 Build/2019 Compliance M2 Competition
Black Sapphire Metallic
Black/Orange Interior
Heated Seats
Wireless Charging

Did the deal at $100,000, with the current finance incentive they take another $5,000 off.

Brand new for $95,000

Great deal! The 5k incentive really sweetens the price too. Supra for 104k or a brand new M2 competition? I know what I would rather have!

Some fantastic deals to be had for 2018 built cars at the moment.

Just ordered mine yesterday in Sydney. Big brakes, sunroof, wireless charge, heated seats, car play, metallic paint and black wheels. Retail drive away was a 124,000. Dealer not keen to discount much because it was an order. Couldn’t get one of the stock ones as I wanted a manual trans. Arrives Oct

Congrats! Mine's on a boat scheduled to dock in Melbourne at the end of June.
It's a bloody long wait but will be worth it

I suspect BMW did this to ensure majority of the customers bring it back to them for the maintenance side.

I'm sure you will look after yours better than your average owner

Look forward to seeing the pics!

Hi all, currently in the market for a M2C but finding that already two dealers I have visited say they are not ordering manuals. I haven't pushed it too far but has anyone else recently had the same experience?
Based in Sydney.

Cheers

Just going through the process at the moment. Based on the Central Coast, but have reached out to Worthington’s (Kariong) and Hornsby and both will order in a M2C in manual. None seem to be bringing in manual’s as dealership stock, special order only. So you’ll pay for the privilege... 🤑

Yeah unlikely to find dealer ordered manual stock I suspect, but of course you can get it if you do a factory build (which is what I did). Still discounts to be had doing a new order!

manual build ordered in Sydney in June also due to arrive in October. Options: metallic paint, Wireless charging, CarPlay, seat heating, sunroof, big brakes and black wheels. Got approx 10% off the driveaway price.

I found BMW Sydney in Rushcutters were terrible so I took my business to Mosman - they’ve been brilliant.

Sydney BM is a company (BMW) owned dealership, when I was looking to order my car near 3yrs ago (when it was a 10-12month wait for delivery) they wouldn't negotiate and required a $5K non-refundable deposit just to place an order (& you were still 7-8 months till start of production). Their staff were friendly & helpful, I guess just bound by company policy.

Three other Sydney metro dealerships all negotiated to varying degrees and required only $1K refundable deposit for the order. Ended up with North Shore BM (who owns Mosman), had to pay another $2.5K deposit once production started (& I think that was $1K more than normal because of manual trans).

I doubt anyone will find a manual M2C in stock, they only existed (in dealership stock) before in the Pure version but now that the Pure can have DCT no dealer with stock manuals. Ashame really.

Maybe they need to pay off their new showroom at Rushcutters.

Not terrible at discount we didn’t even get that far!
I went in ready to buy an M2 and the salesman wasn’t interested. Wouldn’t commit to a time to test drive, said “maybe Tuesday but I’m really busy”. Lots of questions about where I lived what I did for work and what I currently drove. Not in a friendly conversational way more like an interrogation. I tried to contact him on the Tuesday but still waiting months later for him to get back to me! I went to Mosman and test drove one there and signed up that day. Also bought a new m140i for my parter. Also recommended them to a workmate who purchased a new 220i convertible. That would’ve been 3 new cars that BMW SYDNEY could’ve put towards paying for their new showroom 🤷*♂️

I have been into Mosman a couple of times and test drove a few vehicles. Very helpful and friendly.
