Washing in sunlight
My car is ceramic coated and use water filtering. Can I wash in the sun without introducing water spots, or is it more related to hot weather?

Regardless of all that, washing in direct sunlight is annoying. I have a DI spotless system and if I make sure to rinse REALLY well I get no spotting on my car. But it's just a huge annoyance.
I have to rinse the car as I wash. I basically stopped foaming the part of my car sitting in the sun because it dries out super quick. After rinsing and during drying my drying aid dries on the car within seconds of me spraying it. This time of year sucks as the sun is at a low angle and gets on my car even under the car port. If you have to wash with the whole car in the sun you basically have to wash one section, rinse, wash another section, rinse. Then go back and rinse the previous sections to rewet the spots and cool down the section. Of course that depends how far you want to go.

Rinseless wash will solve your problem forever. Water isn’t on the car long enough to dry. I’d highly recommend Wolfgangs rinseless wash.
