So guys probably the first vehicle i've documented a build on in around 15 years haha... so here goes

The car started off as a rebound purchase... after being let down by the dealership on a Miami Blue Individual M3 Comp.



Literally on the way back from one dealership i had the urge for the M2.... One test drive later it was done!! 2018 LCi N55 DCT in Saphire Black




The usual styling carbon upgrades came along instantly..







Once the run in service was done it was time for a stock dyno run and intake testing... all dyno results are based on Bapro dyno that utilises parasitic loss measurement for the most accurate flywheel figure.

Yup it was time to upgrade the dreaded charge pipe as the M2 from factory closes throttle to maintain a constant boost pressure, which causes the stock plastic charge pipe to blow...

Time to address the elephant in the room... 116i intercooler removal..lol
Yup the stock intercooler barely works for the n13 engine and they use the same for the N55. So this is a must for any raise in charge pressure/temps.

Not long before it was time to make it really growl... in goes the Scorpion turbo back system and Stage 2 mapping...

Next up was replacing the stock inlet pipe as these are a restriction above 17psi..




With these FBO and custom NVM Stage 2 mapping we saw a peak of 420Bhp and 620nm



Which netted a best 100-200 time of 8.8 Seconds with full weight and tank:


The stock turbo on the N55 creates quite alot of heat above 17psi due to its back pressure... so meth was the only option!!!


With a custom baffled Meth tank!


This allowed for 440Bhp and 650Nm comfortably with zero timing pull and zero hpfp problems.



and again best Stage 2+ 100-200 in 8.5 seconds with full weight and full tank:

Alot of miles were driven like this and was the perfect daily/fast road car. A few track days under the belt to understand its dynamics... Time for the transformation..

Wheels first.. enter NV Forged NVF.02 in 19" with custom offsets and 9.8kg each:

A quick call to Vinyl image to start the process of getting a RAL colour match wrap for the M2 in Porsche Miami blue... quite a long process and felt like i was waiting forver for the worlds first sample...

Straight to Santapod the next day to yield a 1/4mile in 12.2 seconds at 116mph..


By now you guys must be thinking its end of the road.... But it has only just begun!

Incoming Big boost Stage 3.3 6159 turbocharger.....



A fist full...



Just with low boost and some mapping around the fuel pressure concerns of the Stock HPFP it was already at 500bhp and 700nm with a 100-200 in 7.5s:

The major concern with any N55 is the HPFP so it was time to upgrade as running this power with a potential HPFP can cause failure...

Yielding 625Bhp and 800nm with race fuel and stock map sesnors...



and the mighty 100-200 in 6.5 seconds uphill with full weight and tank on pump fuel and a quarter mile of 11.4 so far:
