Gap between tail pipes and diffuser

The gap between my tailpipes and diffuser is approximately 1 3/8 inches (when I hold ruler against tip of tailpipe and measure from bottom of diffuser to top edge of tailpipe while holding ruler perpendicular to ground). The tail pipes appear to be hanging a little low (not parallel to ground), but could be an optical illusion (or just me looking for something to complain about). Does that seem excessive?

Sorry but I'm so distracted by that giant exhaust can that everything else looks small in comparison even the gap. Someone at BMW needs to be fired over this exhaust.

Negative. Rubber gloves over tailpipes , got close to back of tailpipe and opening of diffuser and just dot sprayed couple of 1 second blasts to cover that little area of silver.

Car looks great btw
