Anyone Used APEX M2C Rim Setup On Track?
I have a 2020 M2C and am interested if anyone in this community has any track experience with the APEX Racing recommended Rim / Tire package...on the BMW stock suspension?
I have read the APEX marketing materials and viewed their fitment pictures and the clearance looks acceptable. What I would like to gain insight on is: - Was there any fender rubbing when pushed on track? - Any issues with the lower profile tires? (APEX recommendation is a 30 profile versus the stock 35) - Was front end gripe improved with the wider tire (APEX recommendation is a 265 front width versus 245 stock) I do not plan on running super aggressive tires so was hoping not to have to adjust front camber so I can maintain daily stock driving characteristics. Appreciate any insights you have. Thanks For Discussion Reference: APEX M2C Staggered Recommendation is F: 19x9.5 ET28 with 265/30-19 tires R: 19x10.5 ET45 with 295/30-19 tires Stock set up is F: 19x9 ET 29 with 245/35-19 tires R: 19x10 ET40 with 265/35-19 tires |

FYI the Apex wheels don't clear the oem BBK option. You will need to wait till their 19" forged line is available.
If u have normal blue brakes or AP racing etc go nuts..

Good to know. Must be the ARC-8 that don't clear.

Interesting that you could go to 305/30s in the rear. I thought 295 was max. Good to know. Thanks.
Is there a reason you went to 265/35 fronts vs. 265/30? Was it to balance the rolling diameter of the 305s in the rear? Just curious. |

What does a full set run with tires? I'm heading to Laguna Seca on the 28th. I may just keep it as it for now (Cup 2's), but for future track days, this looks like a great option. I love that Apex does the recommended fitments per tire.
