gear shift pops/bangs

Hi all,
I noticed that there is a large pop/bang when the car upshifts when the rpm is at 4-5.5k , I have the dsg with a sports cat and remus exhaust. In both auto mode and manual mode, its the same, if you floor it to redline, the gear shifts are so fast it doesn't make that pop/bang. this is similar to other cars with dual clutch transmissions
my question is it possible to accentuate the pop/bang even more?

Probably just need a burble tune and then up it to the most aggresive and have the DCT in the slowest setting

isn't the burble related to throttle and exhaust and not the transmission? or the assumption of having aftermarket exhausts would make the upshift more pronounced?

I believe the engine is disengaged and fuel is cut during a shift, which would retard timing the same as lifting off the throttle. Someone pls correct if I'm wrong. So under some conditions you will hear a single pop when shifting before fuel is added back to the engine and timing is advanced.

I don't believe there is any benefit to this behavior, as there is with colloquial burbles, but it's more-so left there as it's not so simple (or impossible) to program the tune to not do it during shifts.
