Anybody confirmed if this "red button" comes on all cars equipped with MPE v2 or just the European cars

This is actually a very easy solution, MPE now working without the button, took me 5 minutes, a bit of wire and some insulation tape! Nice one.

CommitConfirm still no response from this guy after making a donation to charity on his request before he posted a 'bypass loom' to me. Poor form, dont waste your time.

Could you possibly PM me with this solution? I am tired of looking around and the only one i usually find is the one to short the black wires...

Hi. I don't make these bypass harnesses anymore & the basic idea is out there. It really is as simple as connecting the black wires together.

why not disconnecting the harness on the left side of the bluetooth box, the NA spec does not have that harness just the one in the right side

seems like an easy fix

Has anyone figured out a switched solution to bypass the bluetooth module all together? Ideally an on/off switch that can be run up to the front rather than having to use the bluetooth module.

I just came across this. Not interested enough to read all the text, but wonder if it'll work for the MPE.
