It was definitely nerve-racking, especially with a couple hundred miles on the clock. I got really lucky on finding a hotel right off the highway where I can literally coast into the parking lot.

I had little to no traction, was losing the rear end on the highway going 30mph, but I think the balance and control ability of the chassis helped. I don't recommend trying it though!

Thank you. That's the plan for 2020. M performance coilovers, dinan HE+ tune and heat exchanger.

I'm planning on getting the car on a scale as well to document the weight savings.

I'll look forward to hearing your comparison between the OEM suspension and the MP coilovers.

Also, the Dinan flash plus HE.

Both of those are on my "Hmmmmm" list, but it would be nice to hear from a few people who've done the mods and lived with them for a bit.

R.

Great write up on your car. It sucks that your M2 had to go through the hail storm. But at the end everything turn out to be better. Especially that carbon roof when BMW never offered one. Looking forward to more of the build in 2020...

North Hills! That's awesome and thank you. If you're around tomorrow, I'll be at C&C in Morrisville. Should be a good turnout.

You're welcome! Awesome, yes I'll be there as well. Is it still at 5425 Page Road?

Beautiful. Perfectly modded. I think it just needs a small drop and you're set. Nothing too low obviously. I would also add a larger diffuser to balance out the look.

Awesome build. Love the wheels! Oddly enough I haven't seen that many wheels that looks awesome on the M2C.......but the HRE's are fantastic. Might have to pick up a set!

Love the wheels. They really bring out the muscular lines in the hood and fenders.
