M2 or M2C it's that simple
I don't know who started this Civic M2 or OG M2 or whatever name they're deciding to call it but it should stop.
There's the M2 or M2C period. They're both beautiful cars and cost a lot of money, so let's call them what the manufacturer intended them to be called. Peace

I was standing on a street corner in mid-town Manhattan back in 2002 or 2003, and he drove by me in a silver Ferrari 360. He'd added spacers and put some wheels on it that belonged on a Nissan 200SX Fast & Furious special. My first thought was, "That's Ice T". My 2nd thought was, "Who the ___ does that to a 360?"
With that association in mind, I'll continue referring to it as the M2. |

Mine says M2 on the trunk...
Not to make matters even more confusing but in the US the original M2 was marketed and is still officially called the M2 Coupe, even says so on the order form. https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/m-mo.../m2-coupe.html So you could see someone thinking M2C means M2 Coupe. The M2C as we call it is called the M2 Competition Coupe by BMW so that is really the M2CC. https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/m-models/m2.html So M2C = OG M2 =

About a 5% difference in real content so pick the version that provides the best value to you. Only advantage of the Comp to me is the brake upgrade but that comes at a cost of more unsprung weight and a curb weight of an extra 150 lbs so that cancels out some of that advantage. I own a 17 with 33,000 miles and love it, will convert it to a track car in a few years and at that point I will likely pick up a slightly used M2C for daily. Both are great, when all else is mostly equal I think you go where the bang per buck is best.
