Just a couple little details I've had sitting around for a bit.

oh god please tell me you're not actually using those in lieu of the stock seat belts when you're still on the stock non-racing seats

Yup. And I've done plenty of research on the subject. (not a discussion for this thread)

Would love to see your non-anecdotal evidence regarding the (lack of) safety on QFP harnesses. There's certainly plenty of real world testing (and certification) done by Schroth to the contrary. It's been proven time and time again its at least as safe as OEM 3 point belts.

Would I rather have race seats, full cage, 6 point harnesses? You're damn right. But I drive this car on the street, and have no immediate plans to make it a full on track car.

.... would never suggest a 6 point harness on the street...would never use a 4point on the track...

Ok. Never said anything about running 6 point on the street?

I asked if you had any evidence that QFP were unsafe on the track.

Alibaba for the win. I'm happy witht he stock exhaust but did not like the chrome stock tailpipe finishers. This completes my blackout of the OG M2.

Very nice product. Price was right. Communication was spot on. I'd highly recommend.

Does this slide over the existing tips (because I see the metal portion is short)? Or do you need to remove the OEM tips?

As with all tips in this style, they replace the oems.

Correct, remove the originals. Fit on the new tips is very precise. Easy to adjust and tighten.

Sorry for the dumb question but I assume this is not a set of Four (4) tips and that you need to order 4 “pieces” correct?(was confused by the receipt that only showed 1 piece).

Thx.

No, based on the way they've laid out the pricing (per unit goes down based on the qty), its price for one. So 4 pieces would be $220+ ish

I'm guessing its a simple clamp or screw that holds these tips in place? Easy to remove?

Yes, most of these that I've seen are a heavy duty exhaust clamp on the back. It's mostly out of sight unless you're under the car.

I have almost identical tips on mine, except I have gloss carbon.
