Radar Detector Setup?

I want to setup my Uniden R3 but don't want the wires flowing everywhere, how do most people have it setup for the M2? Just looking for some insight and what to do.

Easy to tap in the overhead lights. Used one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/Escort-Direct...adar+hard+wire

Splice power to the green/brown wire for the mirror and ground to the brown/black.

Then just suction cup mount up high next to the rear view

Blendmount Mirrortap is the way to go. I didnt get the mount itself because I find the R1 suction cups are quite strong and have not pulled loose even once in a year. The mirrortap and instructions in these links give you all the info you'll need:

I just received my Escort Max360C. I'm going to use my MirrorTap from my previous Valentine One from a previous car and order the BlendMount BMG-2017. Should look and hold very well.

the "Phone plug" connector for the V1 has different connections than the Escort. Make sure you change the pins around.

But at least it works fine with my Uniden R1.

Are you 100% sure? On Blendmounts webpage it is showing the RJ-11 MirrorTap works for both Escort and V1 of the same MirrorTap model.
