I had been looking for some examples of others installing wheel spacers on the CS and didn't find anything. So I decided to experiment a little bit with some spacers on my M2CS. I ordered and installed MS 5MM spacers from IND. I installed them on all four corners and do think this small touch really does help with. I'll get some more pictures the next time I'm up at the garage, the car looks like a 4x4 in the side profile shots I took (since it had been up in the air for spacer install).

Bumping this up. I've heard people doing 10mm spacers all around no rub.

Any pics? I know Turner makes some good 7 1/2mm spacers with the hub support also.

On my M2C I had 12mm front and 10mm rear and the front rubbed. But those wheels I thought were different specs then these.

I'm inclined to do 7 1/2mm all around

Cool. I have the same, just need to find the extended wheel bolts now and make sure they are pristine black condition

Apex has all sorts of oem looking bolts in differing lengths to accommodate spacers.

I'll try to get some more pictures tomorrow or Wednesday, but I wouldn't go with anything more than 5MM all around at stock height, unless you are looking for some serious poke. Maybe you could get away with 7.5MM in the rear, but that might be it IMO.

If the car is lower, I think you could get away with more. I plan to follow ptgltw's plan and install Eibach springs (early spring), so I'll test more spacer combos at that time.

I heard same. Depends on alignment too, but I personally don't want to risk rubbing. I don't care on my track cars, but my CS is mostly, if not all, street. I may go 5 mm all around, 7.5/10, or no spacers at all.

I have the H&R sport springs 28802-5 new in a box unopened. Anyone with real experience know if these will be a lot firmer than the Eibach springs? I don't mind stiffer than stock springs, but don't want too stiff for a non track car. I just want to lower it. It looks much higher than my M2C.

I’m pretty sure we aren’t gonna camber our cars out in order to fit 10 mm spacers. At least not yet anyway. Maybe when they are 5 years old and we decide it’s time to rip out the interior - throw a 1/2 cage in and go tracking

Update:

I'm a dummy. I just looked at my parts stash and on my M2C which are the identical wheel specs as M2CS I had the following spacers installed:

7.5mm fronts
5 mm rears

I did have liner rub with the 7 1/2 mm fronts.

I'll be flipping them. I'll try the 5mm on the front and the 7 1/2mm on the rear.

I might settle on the 5mm square setup like the OP had. I'll update with pics when finished with ppf

I run 7.5mm front and get slight liner rub on lock, lowered to 595mm. I run 2.2neg camber also.

Anything over 5mm rear will give tyre poke too.

In the pics below I'm running 7.5mm front and no rear spacer.

Wheels are 763m's running the new Cup2's

That looks good. I might throw some 3mm on the rear and the 5's on the front. I think the 3mm spacers on the rear will be fine without the hub centering spacer the 5mm offers from turner.
